My Favorite Album Review

My Favorite album has to be by Future. Not album , its albums. I loved Future for a while but it really grew in 2012 when his album Pluto came out. My favorite songs on this album are Magic,Neva End, Tony Montana, and Turn On The Lights. Something about his voice makes me wanna listen to him. Honest is a good one by Future too. This album my cousin introduced me to and I love him for that. The next favorite DS2. This is a newer one released in July of this year. This album he absolutely killed and I can listen to this song over and over again. Always from the album What A Time To Be Alive is also a really good song. One song called Hardly by Future is a really touching one him. He explains his life struggles and the stuff he had to do to get to where he is today. It's scary but very interesting. Future is my favorite.  Not only because of his lyrics, but because of his beats too. The just make the song so much better. For me, no matter how good the lyrics are in a song, if the beat doesn't catch my attention then I'm not listening to it over again. I rather have a good beat then good lyrics, I guess that is the dancer in me. All of Future's songs have good beats. I haven't heard one I didn't like. Future has amazing lyrics, good stories, and is a guy to listen to at whatever time of day in whatever mood you're in.

A Principle To Keep

Regret & Forgiveness

There are many principles that as a society no matter what happens, should keep. One of the main ones I see in many people is regret. Regret can kill or un-motivate someone extremely. Regret can range from being about not pending enough time with a loved one who just passed, or even not doing a homework assignment when you had the opportunity to do it. That feeling of regret is extremely unhealthy and the only way to get rid of the feeling, is to forgive yourself. Holding on to regret will only destroy you: stop living in the past and start looking forward for the things you can change in the future instead of the thing that you can't change in the past. Forgiveness is something you need to do as well because holding grudges isn't healthy for anyone. Most people can't let go of things. My mom always told me, "forgive, but never forget". In The Road, you can see many signs of regret from the father. He is always saying I should've done this and I could've done that. That's no way to live. Even though their living conditions are almost impossible to live in, the father doesn't need any more unhappiness then he already has. 

Who are you thankful for in out 7th period?

       I am thankful for Lonyae Johnson. She is so amazing and hilarious. We have so many memories together and I love her so much. I am thankful for Sierra Orr. She is so funny and we have to best times together! I am also so glad she has lunch with me because it would be so dead without her there. We got so much closer this year and I love her so much. I am thankful for Kristy. I love being in a group with her. She is an amazing hard worker and she makes me laugh all the time. This is the second year we're in English together.  I am also thankful for A.J. She hilarious as well, and I just met her. She's so funny and I made a new friend. Also thankful for Jake, William, Alex (both), Rose, Mearieta, Karen Elizabeth, Holly, and Justin for keeping the conversation going and making me laugh in class. I am also thankful for Jennifer, we talk about how much work Mr.McCarthy gives us sometimes. 

Margret's intentions

I believe that Margret shot her husband on purpose. It is in my opinion almost impossible to shoot a buffalo that is super huge and "accidentally" hit your husband. I also think that maybe even Wilson knew about her plan to kill her husband. I think the motive was she was scared that now he got his confidence back that he would have the ego and reason to leave her now.Plus, I believe he knew because he told her," you should've just poisoned his instead". Which made me suspicious. Also, they never explicitly said where she went at 2 a.m. Which could've been a plotting and "fun" session. What makes me doubt that prediction though is that Wilson also said he was just starting to like Francis. Whether it was on purpose or on accident she definitely regretted it afterwards.

John Proctor : Hero or Stooge?

       I think in the Crucible John Proctor shows characteristics of both being a "hero" and a "stooge". First off, he was a stooge for sleeping with someone else while he was married and with their maid at that. That is stooge behavior. But, along with that, he also shows characteristics of being a hero because he is willing to tell everyone he had sex with Abigail just to get his wife out of jail and to convict Abigail and let everyone know how much of a liar she is. But because he tried this, his plan back fired on him. John Proctor has good intentions, but the way he carries them out makes him look like a "stooge". Especially at the end of Act 3 and the beginning of Act 4, he made himself look like a straight clown!
Poor John Proctor.... all because he slept with Abigail....

There Goes The Neighborhood 

        Two different groups or societies coming together can be very beneficial or extremely bad. What that depends on is whether the new societies intentions are good or harmful. There is always a huge risk to letting new societies come in and try and be a part or an existing society. 
        Besides the Native American and English situations, there are also many other cases of this. 
For example, the gang violence in Chicago. There are very distinct areas that each gang controls, just like the English and Native Americans. They also have "wars" and fight over which territory will stay or become "theirs". This is a more modern take on what happened back then.
          But as bad as mixing two cultures and societies can be, there can also be some very good outcomes. Another example, let's just say that the English men's intentions were good and to make peace with the Natives. The society they could have discovered and built together probably could've conquered the world. With the high tech (at the time) supplies and the Native's knowledge of the world that they live in and basic ways to survive with nothing would've been such an amazing mix and learning experience. 

All about Me 
Hey to everyone who knows me well, or may not know me at all. I'm a sophomore here at Whitney, you might have seen me in the hallways for those who don't know me. I'm going to start off with the simple stuff. My birthday is October 21st 1999. I'll be 16 . I hate feet! I am typing with blue because blue is my favorite color. I am the 3rd oldest and the first in my family at Whitney Young. I am a dancer here at Whitney Young and I enjoy dancing very much and I'm willing to try almost every style. I actually hate school and everything that comes along with it, but my friends are my highlights of each day. 
       Now the more interesting stuff. I have a pretty bad attitude and get mad really easily. I am always willing to meet new people, so if I look mean (I get that a lot) don't worry. You can come and talk to me. I am great when it comes to group projects and will alwaus get my work done. I hope to make friends with all of you before the end of this year .
